Cat peeing on our bed
My brain is tired of trying to figure this out.
We adopted a cat last year. She is so sweet and we love her so much.
Very long origin story, she has luxating patella in both knees. The rescue we adopted her from said we were at fault from her limp. (It was immediate when we let her out in our room, took to the vet and got that diagnosis)
She’s still recovering from surgery on one knee, waiting some time for the next.
All that aside, we have one other cat who she’s obsessed with, and three litter boxes. She is on a rabbit diet as everything else caused her to have diarrhea.
We had our vet check her out, nothing wrong with her tract, no blockage, healthy pee.
Since we’ve had her, she uses her litter just fine. No issues there, but if I’m asleep, or out of the room, she pees on our bed. Not just a little Woops pee, but full blown.
Our vet said try calming solutions. We’ve done feliway sockets throughout the house, all sorts of things.
We use dirty labs detergent on the sheets/cover as well as the booster that’s all supposed to get rid of enzymes etc.
She’s cost a fortune, and she pees on us. It’s infuriating.
That said, she acts like she’s a happy cat, we love her so much and would do anything for her, but this is her one huge flaw that our vet isn’t concerned about.
Any ideas?
