On 9/11, visually impaired Michael Hingson was on the 78th floor of the North Tower. He relied on his guide dog, Roselle, to lead him down 1,463 steps amid the smell of jet fuel and chaos. Roselle remained calm even as the towers collapsed, guiding Michael to a subway station to save his life.

When the first plane struck, Michael Hingson couldn’t see the fire or the falling debris, but he could feel the building sway 20 feet. As his colleagues panicked, his guide dog Roselle calmly woke from a nap and began a harrowing descent. Their bond didn't just save Michael; it kept an entire group of survivors focused and moving toward safety. Along the way, Roselle paused to lick and comfort employees as they evacuated the burning skyscraper.

From the "group hug" they shared on the 50th floor to the terrifying moment they ran from the South Tower's collapse, read the full, heart-pounding account of their descent to safety: Inside The Harrowing Escape Of 9/11 Survivor Michael Hingson And His Beloved Guide Dog

Suggestion for Manuel

Hi!

I'm a Spaniard who looooves Murdoku. Almost finished first book (I've only have 3 puzzles left to solve), and I've already started the second one.

Ok, so... I just wanted to make a suggestion, might sound obvious or stupid, but I'll leave it here anyways.

In Spanish we don't usually say "she was beside" or "he was beside", because we tend to use "estaba junto a", which doesn't distinguish between genders.

I've come across that problem in vol. II, puzzle 12. Grace should be a female name, but not 100% certain here in Spanish, so I had to look it up to make sure that Grace was actually a woman... I think it would be awesome if, just like in the website, there was an icon beside the suspect (or victim) telling which gender are they.

tl;dr: please add an icon near each suspect/victim that tells if they're male or female.

Thanks a lot!

Question about book 2

Hi! I've just started book 2 and I'm having problems with a clue.

Puzzle #5, Claude is "in front of a door". Does it mean that doors in this book are asymmetrical (i. e. they have a "front" and a "back"?

Thanks for your kind help! 😊

Translation error in Spanish edition (vol. I, puzzle 60)

Ok, so I was solving puzzle #60... everything was going smoothly, until the end, when I could place the last 3 suspects + the victim in several valid combinations of squares. Weird, that shouldn't happen.

At first I was like "am I missing something?" But looking carefully everything looked fine. So I place them however and go to check the solution, only to find that >!I put A in the only valid square I had left (alone in a room with another female suspect) and in the solution she's in the same room as G, Gideon, a... bearded woman?!<

I mean... these puzzles are hard enough by themselves, but if the hints are wrong, there's not much else to do!

That's it, I just wanted to vent my frustration, thanks for your attention... 😅♥️

Which levels did you find "out of place" in the first book?

I'm currently solving the first book, just finished level 45, but I've skipped a couple of levels: 38 and 41.

I skipped 41 because I failed at my first try, pure impatience, I'm pretty sure it'll be solved sooner than later, but 38 got me really frustrated, I must be missing something pretty obvious, because I've spent a lot of time with it and it feels like I need more (or better) clues...

The next few levels I found relatively easy to solve, but the Chess one feels like it's way harder than it should for its number.

What levels did you find that should have been in another position (easier or harder)?

It feels like it's really
