Will a G-Sync compatible monitor work with an Acer Aspire 5 a515 75G?

I thought it could work trough a Displayport to USB C cable, but then I read that laptops usually wire ports into the IGpu, so it propably won't work. I just wanted to ask someone who understands this topic, before I buy anything.

I wanted to put some books onto my Kobo Clara, but when I opened Calibre (version 9.8) it said that there was an error in communication with the device. I clicked More, and it said this:

database disk image is malformed

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "calibre\gui2\device.py", line 110, in run

File "calibre\gui2\device.py", line 581, in _books

File "calibre\devices\kobo\driver.py", line 2092, in books

File "C:\t\t\apsw-qgwg0sj1\src\cursor.c", line 219, in resetcursor

apsw.CorruptError: database disk image is malformed

When I tried to sync metadata it said this:

'list' object has no attribute 'set_device_managed_collections'

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "calibre\gui2\device.py", line 110, in run

File "calibre\gui2\device.py", line 611, in _sync_booklists

File "calibre\devices\kobo\driver.py", line 1023, in sync_booklists

File "calibre\devices\kobo\driver.py", line 2631, in update_device_database_collections

AttributeError: 'list' object has no attribute 'set_device_managed_collections'

What does that mean? My Kobo works normally, Calibre just doesn't see what I have on the device. And when I sent books it didn't include series.

What is this? Should I fix it? If so, how?
