For those who filed Form I-765 (H-4 EAD) as a stand-alone, first-time application (not an extension), how long did it take for you to receive your biometrics appointment notice after getting your I-765 receipt notice?
My I-765 was filed separately from my H-4 extension, and my case is being processed by the Texas Service Center.

I submitted an expedite request for my H-4 Extension (Form I-539) through my USCIS online account based on severe financial loss. My I-539 has now been pending for 17 months.
I recently received a response from USCIS regarding my expedite request. Can anyone explain what it means and what I should do next? Is it just an automated acknowledgment, or does it indicate that my expedite request is being reviewed?
I also recently filed my Form I-765 (H-4 EAD). My understanding is that my H-4 extension must be approved first, since valid H-4 status and an updated I-94 are required before my EAD can be approved.
