BAC Research Help 30ml Vials
What I need to know, I am not reusing needles, my testing is on low doses over time bacteria growth. So 30ml of BAC lasts me 30 reconstitutions. How to minimize adding potential bacteria to the BAC from each new pierce after the 1st. I would use new syringe each time and of course use sterile wipe on vial seal before the draw from the BAC. Can I place the new needle syringe in alcohol just before piercing the BAC each time? Should I draw up a tiny amount of alcohol into needle? Push out and then let evap before BAC draw? Lots of options. I am just trying to figure out how to use most of the BAC 30ml over many different pierces to utilize more of the 30ml BAC without introducing additional contaminants. My research is to simulate what is happening in the field and lab test and document the results over long periods of time and publish the results with complete research procedures. I need to simulate what others are doing in the field when they have 10 vials of XXXX and one bottle of 30ml BAC. I know they are not reconstituting the 10 vials at once and they piercing the BAC many times over many many months if not 2 years. It's harder to buy 3ml BAC so I want my research project to use 30ml BAC vials.
