I really like what they've done with Hit.

I really like what they've done with Hit.

Now, there is the issue of him not exactly getting disrupt, but thankfully 17za pivoting into him does somewhat remedy that.

His damage is awesome, his counter green gives that extra utility, his blue does good damage and lets you farm overdrive (especially cause he gets blue cards so fast). And his ult hits like a TRUCK.

His permanent endurance null is honestly something I think we did need. It just helps clear matches up faster.

I don't have him zenkai 6 yet because THE ZENKAI SYSTEM IS GENUINELY AWFUL, but I can't wait to get to use him properly.

This might be a little controversial, but I'd put him at either #7 or #8 in the game, more so leaning towards #8.

He's high risk high reward, but if you know how to play him you'll definitely give your opponents a really hard time.

"And the Vegeta... gets the rainbow orbssss!!!"

Ok first and foremost I would personally like to apologise to INT SSJ4 Goku and TEQ Pan. I made y'all look chopped 😭

But this BUM Vegeta needs so many rainbow orbs istg your passive skill is being carried by a CHILD.

But yeah, this is a COLLABORATION with u/Mission_Glove9399 (they did the bottom half), and they're awesome.

How it feels to send INT Piccolo Jr to blow everyone up every WT:

This took FOREVER to draw. I'm not an artist so it's gonna look sorta ugly but I gave it all I had.

Love him or hate him, he isn't a healthy unit.

He just isn't.

And for anyone who tries to say he is, I'll ask a few questions.

Is it healthy for the game when all anniversary units are overshadowed by a platinum equipment?

Is it healthy for the game when he literally disregards the new design philosophy?

Is it healthy for the game that he has uncancellable type neutral and uncancellable damage stacking?

Is it healthy for the game where as long as you get one early priority with him, an opposing unit almost always dies?

Is it healthy for the game to have a character that is the definition of literally just pressing cards at random and winning?

Is it healthy for the game that the only way to reliably stop this guy is to use AUTOCOUNTERS???

You can like the ultra, but you have to admit that this is just actually just a horrible choice on the devs' part. He's actually made the game worse. Because I actually thought the meta was GOOD before he dropped. There were a bunch of usable teams, every anniversary unit had it's "counter", etc. Even the spirit bomb wasn't that bad. It took a lot of setup, and was somewhat easily dispatched as long as you knew what to do. It was ACTUALLY A HALF-DECENT META. THAT'S SO RARE.

He's genuinely one of my most disliked units now. He was better in 2023. At least then I could have fun while facing him.

PHY Gogeta with 140% phase 1 support and 120% phase 2 support. He EZAs in a little under half a year btw.

This is actually insane. This was with no items I just juiced him up with attack equips, and on turn 7 I had:

-His 4 turn massive raise on SA

-70% support from str whis from the turn before (beerus was on rota)

-70% support from agl jiren from the turn before

-Double phy ui support in slots 1 and 2

AND HE BLASTS OUT A 43 MIL ATTACK STAT

WITH THIS LEVEL OF JUICE HE'S HITTING 200 MIL ON EZA I SWEAR TO GOD

While I don't think he's like... hall of fame worthy, I do think that this guy is in talks for one of the best aging units oat.

He dropped for new year's 2024, and then when his team aged out, he found a spot on Hit's team. When Hit's team aged out, he found a spot on Daima Mini SSJ4's team, then he found a new home on Str Daima 4ku's team, now he's also being used on Arinsu's team. He just keeps getting used.

Bear in mind, he can STILL hit competent attack stats in the turn. He doesn't have crit built in, but with Str 4ku on rotation he gets supereffective.

And tbf, he doesn't even really NEED a leader skill to be competent. He has 3 turn 50% support in slot 3, and gets a ton of additionals in his kit so he's still somewhat likely to hit his max dodge. Cause he's just a floater! He was a top tier option for Broly FoB strats!

He's lowkey just REALLY good at what he does, and although he can be a bit of a detriment, he provides huge support.

If ANYONE wants to put him in talks of being a hall of fame unit, it wouldn't be because of his damage or anything of the sort, it'd just be because of the fact he is just able to be slotted anywhere on any team and have some level of effectiveness.

Is it just me, or is the difference between Goresh's Dyspo and DoooGote's Dyspo like night and day?

For those who haven't seen the videos, I'll describe them best I can. Obviously, DoooGote can be a little controversial with some of his takes, but his Dyspo deadass looks GOOD.

Idk what is going on. In Goresh's video, I saw Dyspo not doing much and getting slapped about. I then open a DoooGote video about how Universe Reps is a fantastic team, and in the first few seconds I see Dyspo taking half of Broly's HP with one card, chaining it into an ult and oneshotting UVB.

I don't know if it's the players they faced, but the performances are totally different.

My personal opinion on Dragon Ball Legends. (Essay Warning)

I'm a f2p player that's been playing since Legends Fest 2023, so that should hopefully give my opinion some merit. Not as much as the day 1 players, but I have still experienced a lot.

Story Mode:

The story mode is alright. It gives good rewards, is relatively engaging, and they've fixed some of the things that made it more of a hassle in the earlier parts, like the challenges no longer requiring you to use two hero characters and get two cover changes.

It's not all good though. I have a few gripes with it.

  1. New content. It takes months to get more of the story sometimes, and in this latest drop we got five stages. It took a LONG time to get that. FIVE STAGES. I just feel like they need to pick up the pace with it a little. Compare that to a game like Cookie Run: Kingdom. I don't play it much anymore, but I believe they add a whole story chapter every 2-3 weeks.

  2. Somewhat repetitive. Is it just me, or have we been fighting the same character in the story for about a year now? I won't say who in case people haven't gotten there, but at this point it just feels like: Shallot fights, Shallot gets beat up, Shallot doesn't give up, Giblet comes and helps, Giblet gets beat up, Shallot and Giblet get beat up, and repeat. Earlier on there was more variety. Sort of the same structure, but like... we don't have any moments like Shallot joining the Ginyu Force anymore. Like... that was entertaining and unique.

  3. Hard mode. Where is it? There's only chapters 1-4. You started with it, and there's no new story you need to write for hard mode specifically. So just... add some more!

Chrono Crystals:

It does appear that they've been giving out more than what they used to, which is good. The more the game progresses, the more is expected.

But OH MY GOD INCREASE THE CC CAP. I personally haven't had an issue with it, as I have a very itchy trigger finger when it comes to rolling cause most of the units are cool to me, and I always want to do one or two multis in the slight chance I get them. Let's compare this to Dokkan, the other big DB mobile game I've played.

Legends soft caps you at 20k. Once you hit that, no exchanging for you. Obviously you can go above that cap by storing cc missions, or by doing dailies or friendship, or ranking rewards, etc. But they basically cap you. Now obviously players in both Legends and Dokkan are incentivised to save your precious resources for a character you really like, and the BIG CELEBRATIONS. Dokkan doesn't have a cap, so you can keep getting dragon stones, making it easier for you to save up your precious resources. Legends... doesn't make it easier for you. So just raise it to 50k at LEAST. Best case scenario is to remove it.

The Legend Rarity and the Pity System:

The Legend rarity I think is an AWESOME addition. More touched up animations and card arts, and the introduction of Legend Actions I think do breathe a little more life in the game, which I think was needed. But there is one huge problem.

Their banners. It might still be a little too early to tell, but for now, all they have been doing is rerunning Legend banners instead of putting them on other banners. LSV is approaching 6 months old. So we should hopefully have confirmation soon as to if they will reroll the banners, or put them on new Legend banners. If they reroll them, then they're just basically Ultras. Only available on their banner, three 1000cc multis and a free one per rotation, etc. That isn't going to be fun at all for things like eventual Legend Zenkais (if we even get those).

And now to talk about the pity system. It's good that it exists, but it's not exactly a good pity system. 450 draws that reset upon pulling the new unit is just kinda ehh. Like, it's a good failsafe, but it doesn't feel nice to be 10 draws away and then getting the unit right before pity.

Again, let's compare this to Dokkan. They had a slight pity revamp in recent years, like Legends did. But for Dokkan, the pity progress doesn't reset, you're able to use your pity progress for other units other than the featured unit, and for BIG celebrations, it even shares the pity between banners. It's just WAY better. Hopefully Legends does take notes from them.

The New Design Philosophy, Unique/Platinum Equipment, and Zenkais:

The new design philosophy is a step in the right direction. Nobody likes infinite combos. But I feel like the devs are sort of going a little too far with it. We went from infinite combos, to no combos. Obviously there are exceptions to this, like the Buu Bros, but you can't really do combos anymore. It's usually just a few cards and possibly an area change attack. Mainly because they're making some disrupts pretty broken, and adding combo comp on all that.

Let's look at Gohunks. When you hit them, they destroy a card, lock your rush, and give -1 card draw. Twice. Until they switch out/switch sides, when it resets. And Broly, which when his gauge fills up, seals your main for a little too long imo.

In terms of unique/plat equips, they've been on a roll since a little before Legends Fest 2025 (Mr "10% damage guard" wasn't even that bad. Underpowered, but not unusable like people made him out to be). But recently, they have been getting a little too ahead of themselves.

For unique equipments, let's look at YEL Rosé. They definitely overtuned him when he dropped. People were calling him a mistake, and they were saying that he should get nerfed. He made a meta that was going to timer rather consistently EVEN MORE likely to go to timer. That doesn't feel very "new design philosophy" to me. Obviously he did mellow out a bit later on, but on release he was stupid, and pretty unfair. He's still good though.

For platinum equipments, let's look at the hero turned villain: DBL61-01U, otherwise known as Ultra Vegito Blue. In comparison to the other plat equips we got since Legends Fest 2025, like UUI and Kid Buu, UVB is on a tier of his own, and is certainly a mistake. They should not make one three year old character outshine literally EVERY SINGLE ANNIVERSARY UNIT. He does stupid damage, has good tanking, and istg his ult kills more consistently than the SPIRIT BOMB when at 8* or higher. Again, I feel like this is a pretty big mistake, and doesn't scream "new design philosophy". And I know that he released before the new philosophy, but they made the unit a jack of all trades, master of all with this equip. They should have toned down his damage guard if they wanted this level of damage, and toned down his damage if they wanted to give type neutral, etc.

Zenkais have been sort of hit or miss, but it seems like they have been sort of finding their footing. Cell, Gohan and Godgeta have all been good Zenkais, and Godock is also pretty solid, although has a few holes in his kit. But overall I do think that the Zenkai units are sort of finding their footing.

PvP:

I saved this one for last, as it has a huge impact on a lot of players.

I won't talk too much about it, but I'll say what I think needs to be addressed.

The matchmaking kinda sucks. I just LOVE playing PvP at 0 god ranks, and suddenly "RP BONUS CHALLENGE!!! Beat this player with 80 GOD RANKS WHILE YOU HAVE NONEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!" It isn't good. I would like to fight players on MY level, instead of Mr. Moneybags who spent more money than what's in my bank account to 14* all the new units, and also is 30x God Rank.

The ToP map needs to be fixed, it's too laggy. Ok onto my next point.

Talking about lag, lag players need to be dealt with. It isn't fun for anyone, and just makes PvP an unfun mess. Like, if only there was some ping check before being able to queue up for PvP, so it would let players actually have a smooth experience for the most part.

This last point is a little more personal bias, but bring back Tri-Arena more often. It's just so much more fun than regular PvP imo, because you don't just see the same team every time. It has VARIETY.

If you have read until the end of this, thank you. This took me over an hour to write. And I would like your guys' opinions, I'm curious as to what you think.

Some useful information about Panzy and Arinsu!

Again, this is a sort of "should you summon guide"

And something I didn't have enough space to add was that for Arinsu, if you get the HiPo super after a 12ki attack, it triggers her 11ki passive.

u/Jabronero — 16 days ago

A new mechanic that I thought of: Uncancellable type advantage defensively.

This is mainly just a way that the devs could counter UVB without creeping the damage guard and damage numbers to insane levels.

The informatic is a hypothetical showing what it would look like if LR 17&GF had it.

This probably isn't the best idea, but it would be a way to counter UVB. Because you can't target him to remove the type neutral off his equip, so why not focus on the attacked unit to find a workaround?

[Fluff] Labyrinth got updated, so some ppl might actually be able to beat it now.

PONOS allowing us to skip 10 floors is actually huge.

u/Jabronero — 20 days ago

It's been a few days. Where do y'all rank LR Freeze-dried in the game? And for those who said they wouldn't invest, did you change your mind?

I just got them today and I have only tried them out a bit, but they're definitely really good. I'd put them either at #2 or #3. It also gives me a much needed tool against UVB, so that's awesome.

How much CC is everyone going to be spending on them?

ALL. IN.

I'm not stopping until I squeeze every drop of CC I can get out of this damn game, because I NEED THEM.

I'm going to do all the story challenges, all the dailies, all the events, burn all my slot removers on reupgrades for the CC if I have to.

There's some characters in games that I'm really attached to. One of them is these guys (I can thank Dokkan for that, I got some insane feats with these guys). So I don't CARE what the next release is. I don't CARE if they're mid. I'm still going ALL IN.

Some useful information about Mini SSJ3 Goku!

Obviously he's not in game, and this is quite speculative, so actual results may vary. I have gotten this just from his kit.

Feel free to sort of treat this as a "should you summon" or "what do you gain if you get him"

Also for some reason the rainbow Goku image got shifted up and to the right

What is YOUR Dokkan year?

By YOUR year, I don't mean the one you started with. I mean the one you love more than the rest.

Now in my case, I did actually join in 2024, but the year was the most fun I've had I think.

I joined during the anniversary on JP, and I didn't really LIKE beast. I don't mean that I think he was bad, I just wanted to use other characters over him because he was too broken, and I wanted challenge.

We had the Toppo release, and that was also just really cool. I had a lot of fun using tournament participants with him.

And then Golden Week happened. I loved the Buu Saga celebration. I had an extreme team, and a super team at the end of the celebration. It was quite fun.

We also had that whole Super Bosses celebration, and oh my god. Super Bosses was on DEMON TIME then. They didn't last long, but Cell Max was just really fun to run. Literally was blitzing bosses so fast that people were using double cell max instead of double agl broly.

And then we had TANABATA. I LOVED Tanabata. That USS team was just so fun to me. The U7 EZAs were so cool, and 17&Golden Frieza was by far my favourite of them to the point I beat Festival with them. I also rainbowed my first LR in that celebration: AGL UI. And god, the Gofrieza fight. It is still just so awesome. That fight wasn't messing about. And it was FUN. I sometimes actually go back into the fight with 2024 USS just to play it again.

And then obviously we have the WWDC. The sync. And also the introduction of one of my favourite characters. GOKU, GOHAN AND TRUNKS. The animations were awesome. And oh my god, the effect their kit had on the game. IT GAVE UNITS MINI EZAS. I loved running STR Future Gohan there, or STR Bulma, or TEQ Piccolo. And then there were the after-party EZAs. Gogeta and Janemba were INSANE, and SOOOOOOO much fun.

2024, you are MY year. You're amazing.

A REAL Extreme Class team.

Yes this is for jokes, but this team is lowkey awesome and so hilarious to run, in addition to giving you the capabilities for doing rainbow extreme missions.

It's the most fun extreme team to me.
