Just proved her point.

Just proved her point.
I recently watched the two seasons of The Chestnut Man and am surprised by the similarities they have.
The crimes (serial killing) investigated have connections with a similar crime that happened in the past.
Both cases have a connection with a recent crime, but the connection was not clear till some turning point and those families are haunted by the cases.
In the crime scene, there is some specific attributes killer leaves in both seasons.
The killer is revealed on the episode 5, and is an unexpected person.
The motive for killing comes from the injustice and issues they faced in their life, which made them abnormal psychologically.
Last episode of both the seasons are just chase, and face-to-face encounters, where the main character gets injured >!and both the perpetrators are killed in the end!<
I felt that there was a template in which both the stories were present, what do you feel about this?
I really like fun investigation movies like sherlock holmes. A thriller movie with a flavour of humour is what I expect, not a complete comedy one, the investigation or thriller part should be the main plot. Please suggest some movies.
