I want to read a novel that throws you into a world that is brutal and follows a main character or group. I’m not super heavy into world politics and would like to read a novel focusing on the adventures of the characters.

I am an Industrial design student approaching my senior year and about to start my thesis. I wanted to focus on insomnia as I have struggled with restless nights for years, and know how taxing it can be on mental and physical health and wellbeing. This led me to the Idea of designing a solution for all types of insomnia. I want to make something that is physical and unique. My one gripe with this brief is that I don't want to make something that is similar to an alarm clock. I think that is what majority of you guys would say instinctively but the goal would be to make something that has never been done before and has its own individuality aspect to it. Also another thing to point out is that I am also designing this to decrease the unnecessary use of medication before bedtime. Godspeed to those of you out there suffering with this still.
