I am renting this house and have some experience woodworking. Since it's a rental, I'd want to avoid scuffing the wall or anchoring into the studs, if necessary. Was thinking of a bookshelf empty space below, and a padded seating area.

It could be cool if I can somehow make a recessed angled back rest that rises out of the cha
