Funniest Simmons Predictions Gone Wrong

I recently just checked out one of the old Good Will Hunting rewatchables pods. In that pod, Bill likened watching Damon and Affleck in GWH to watching Embiid and Ben Simmons saying, “you just know they’re going to dominate for the next 20 years.”

I was a really funny moment and was wondering if anyone would want to share their favorite ‘Bill was way off’ take they have.

His system is the only reason this team was successful in the regular season. Are you really sitting at home thinking Baylor, Walsh, Hugo, and Harper would be anything more than fringe rotation players on any other team in the league? Queta is a backup center. White has a career low shooting season. Pritchard is a Ty Jerome caliber player. They traded Simons for Vuc to save money. Tatum wasn’t available for the end of game 6 and 7. Talent wise, this team that lost game 7 should have been in the play-in duking it out with Charlotte.

If you’re being entirely honest with yourself, the sixers had 4 of the best 5 player on the court once Tatum got injured. 1. Embiid 2. Maxey 3. Brown 4. PG 5. Edgecomb. I’m sorry that you’re hurting, but your coach is one of the best in the league and it’s ridiculous and petulant to think he should be fired.
