[partially lost] She Wrote Wonderful Poetry: Time Erased it

Someone dear to me was a published poet who wrote in her youth but stopped after she became a mother. I was able to access her poems online in 2016. I can no longer find her work by her name or the title of her work. I don’t have exact dates but I have a rough timeline and more details.

Her name was Pamela Jo Beach. She was writing / had works posted online between the years of 2001 - 2016. I was able to access one of her works online between the dates of May 1st - 9th, 2016. It’s implied that her works have been online before then.

I have the name and content of one of her poems along with two vague descriptions of two other poems she did:

“My Journey’s End”

“The past is gone today is here.

The future’s mine to lead.

The path that I follow needs to be clear

If someday I am to succeed.

My path I know at the very end

For me, it’s what I lack

Contentment for a peaceful life

No need for turning back.

The stones are small that block my steps

The steps that make each day.

Seem to me a little closer

As I make my way.

Until the end that I reach

Leaves no other choice

But to smile upon the finest thing.

My end, contentment voice…”

OTHER POEM 1: A poem about wanting to give birth to a baby girl.

OTHER POEM 2: A Poem about the struggles of homelessness. Has a verse that touches on not being able to look homeless people in the eye.

Some more information that may be relevant but is vague and might be inaccurate. I do not know exact dates, locations, publications, or titles:

  1. The author was invited to Las Vegas (or somewhere in Nevada) to speak as she was an award winning poet. She didn’t come.

  2. Her poetry is in some kind of publication

  3. “Award Winning”. What award? I don’t know, other than it was for her poems.

Here are some websites that she may have posted on but I can’t find traces of her in them. I suspect these websites because she specifically mentioned posting on “Poetry” / “Poems” .com or some variant of that. Some others are suspects because of a resource list I had in an assignment I did in 2016 that I put her poem in. I didn’t… I didn’t credit her but for some other works I did and perhaps I pulled her poem from there:

I have tried looking her work up multiple times from the very little knowledge I have, including on internet archive and wayback. While I was able to dig up “My Journey’s End” from an 8th grade assignment I did, I was hoping to find more of her works along with where they were posted. More specifically, I wanted to find that “OTHER POEM 2”, as the verse stuck with me for years until the memory degraded into just a moral.

The author has had a name change in recent years and absolutely has not written anything new or posted anything new in recent years. Variations of the given name may have been used to ID her online as well. If extra information or corroboration is needed, please DM me.

I feel comfortable sharing this and that online but not in the flesh. This is the second time I was able to have someone close to me participate in my practice the first was me praying with my mother. This second time around I was able to give offerings to Baal with my husband. After, I reaffirmed to him that he can give offerings without me and add to my shrine if he wanted to. He immediately did so after and the day after.

I am very happy. I have also found a community where I can talk about my practice and my studies comfortably. It's nice having people to talk to and share my own experiences and knowledge without worrying about disinterest or malice. This isn't to imply that I avoid conversation because of disinterest or malice, I avoid conversation because it's not relevant in day to day chatter. Not everyone is very keen on talking about occult texts and worship. This is fine. I found my way.

I hope you all have a place to share your own experiences, I found this place to be lovely. If you have anything you'd like to share, I would love to hear it.
