B18B1 smoking in a weird way.

The only time and condition it smokes, absolutely dawging on it. No other time does it smell like oil or smoke. Ive replaced the valve stem seals and I’ve tried my research and had no prevail. Anyone else have this problem!? (I hit rev limiter in second clip.)

Uh oh.

It doesn’t feel like it pulls to the left as it should but it does shift back and forth going highway speeds. Start throwing ideas at me fellas! (2000 Honda civic hatch)

Money

What jobs did you guys work during flight training? About to wrap up on private that my parents have paid but after that I’m on my own. Seeing what others did to afford flight training.

Timing belt jumps?

(B18B1) Loosened the belt to remove the cams for valve stem seals, put the cams back on and following instructions from a person on team-integra where you tighten the pulley, make sure everything is TDC, rotate the crank 4-6 times, then loosen and torque the tensioner. I’ve already done 2 crank rotations (1 full cam rotation) and the timing doesn’t change, it probably does change halfway through the rotation but I’m out of ideas on how to get this working.

Thoughts on rear bumper?

Is it worth it trying to fix the old bumper myself (plastic weld, buff, correction paint) or buy a whole new painted bumper for around $400 of the internet?

Anything idea is a great idea! (Some photos are older and you’ll see different wheels, but current ones are enkei RPF1s)

I’m at 4.4 hours, and there’s so much new information it’s like drinking out of a firehose. I’m a quick learner but holy crap am I learning so much at such a fast pace. I just completed crosswind landings and stalls, keep in mind only 4.4 hours. What some things you guys do to help absorb this knowledge better?
