Update on electrical drain

Dear Diary,

It’s been almost a month since she’s been at the dealership. After the service advisor finally listened to me (thankful for this group and your experience and knowledge) they told me it was in fact the gateway module.

Now here’s the fun part… they finally get a new one replace it and it’s pulling even more off the 12V. As of Friday last week they have zero clue what to do with it. All the programs Ford has sent them are not fixing the problem. All they can tell me is it is 100% the Gateway mod.

Luckily they have given me a loaner. I heard nothing yesterday which does not give me the warm and fuzzies. All of the electric haters in my life are saying “see I told you so” and ask would I get another one? 100% I would! This is just a fluke. I love my car this is just a small detour. Right?!?! 😬😩

Service required notification

I kept getting this notification every morning. Electrical drain needs service. Has anyone else had this one? I took her in yesterday AM and have not heard a peep yet. Luckily they did give me a tin can Bronco Sport for a loaner, what a piece of garbage. Anyway, my app won’t talk to the car for info but PAAK does work. I also noticed it disabled my lift gate and took me out of unbridled. They are also looking at the small leak in the back window, my short headliner and pre-collision assist turning on and off.

Back window blues…

Has anyone figured out how to keep the back window clean? My back wiper sucks donkey dong so I’m replacing that with a longer one so that will help hopefully. Honestly wish that little spoiler weren’t there. It’s so hard to get in between it and the glass. All tricks, tips or vents welcome.

I’m super happy with how she turned out. I got a full frontal PPF, blacked out the front added some stripes and ceramic window tint on the sides and windshield. It really dressed her up.
