Using the 80 grams of Acacia AANRP root bark, lye and distilled water same exact method for each bottle but somehow the bottle of the left has developed this like fatty layer and the other bottle hasn’t

Does anyone have idea what’s happening here, once i add naptha like i have in th past it will have difficult penetrating the layer when separating and tends to create emulsions.
What’s this middle layer? mixed in bark with some lye and left my naptha in there over night curious to what this middle layer that sitting on top of all the bark
