First build and first time connecting and flashing problems

I purchased this kit on eBay. I feel confident it is assembled correctly, but I have been unable to get the thing to connect properly to my computer therefore I have been unable to flash meshtastic onto it. I tried installing the cp210x drivers, and as far as I know, they were installed, but the device manager does not show a com 5 under ports. When I connect the type C plug to the heltek while holding the button down to load it in the bootloader mode it displays the second image. But I cannot connect to it. Under the Bluetooth connections, the only device that seems plausible is labeled NRFUN. Seems strange but nothing else that shows up could be the node. I'm certain I followed the directions the seller gave me correctly. Can anyone help me out with some advice and suggestions?

Improving stringy filaments

As you can see from the images, I have the filament tuned in pretty well. The one issue is strings. I tried running the retraction calibration and as you can see from third image from 0 to 5 there are strings all the way across. How else can I decrease the strings?

Will a p700 print on this paper?

Is there any reason this will not work on a p700? 13 in wide, it's a roll, what could go wrong?

So, the x, y, and Z should be obvious. The words , the cube, are on the opposite face from x. The layer adhesion and alignment look perfect on the face to the left of X opposite y. But where I'm having difficulties is on the chamferred corners, there is weirdness after the lettering and some Globs in the x y and z. Also, the top face is horrible. The filament has been dried, though if I'm being honest, it could be a little dryer. The poly dryer is finicky depending on the humidity in the room, unfortunately. I just greased all three axes. The Pei smooth plate was freshly cleaned. I'm guessing either the filament needs to be significantly dryer or that there's something in my settings that is incorrect. While on the topic, when you guys get a new filament and presumably a filament profile from the manufacturer, how do you figure out what to set all your speeds to? Thanks to anyone who has something constructive to add
