What are somethings I should watch out for and do while being a new private?

As in pay or things that would be beneficial for me to do now

What is over strengthened?

I just joined the army did osut, before I came to my duty station I got a email saying over strength. I searched it up and it’s saying basically it’s too many people in an mos and that I’ll be forced or ask to reclass is that true? I’m still in reception at my duty station and I have my orders with my mos still there but could it be overridden? Help me understand.
