I received jury summons today and the dates that it goes over would mean a significant loss of earnings to me. I am self employed and the start date lands right in the middle of a good chunk of work, I wound lose it all should I have to be a juror.

Do any other self employed have experience with this?

I believe I can postpone once - does that mean my next call up would be imminent or is it just pot luck again?

And if I do get called for jury duty again am I able to be excused if it is would once again affect earnings?

Hi everybody

A few nights ago I had what felt like night terrors - an incredibly horrible set of scenes that made me wake up in a pretty bad way. When I woke up, I am certain I saw my bedroom door half open and a woman standing there. She just said “hello” but in a way that really creeped me out. It wasn’t pleasant. As I laid there I wasn’t sure if this was still part of the dream even though I am certain that I was awake.

I would swear blind the door moved as I thought my brother had come in to check on me, he says he hadn’t.

I have no idea whether or not this would be a spiritual encounter or just a horrible dream so thought I’d come here to at least ask the question.

Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you.
