Where do I learn more about governor candidates? Is there a website that lists all the candidates and tells you about them/lets the candidate post an “about me”

I keep getting texts from Adam Grums people saying where he is and to come meet him, was wondering if there was a website with a comparison on all the people running?

Indoor jungle room in a cold climate

Hey guys I’m planning and designing my home, and I had an idea that an indoor tropical plant garden and maybe some fish ponds would be really cool in the bedroom area. This is a really rough sketch but the blue box would be the bed, and the yellow area would be the garden. I live in a cold climate, and moisture likes to push outwards and into the wall cavity potentially condensing within the walls causing all sorts of problems.

Has anyone made an indoor garden/jungle inside of their home in cold climates that could give me some advice?

I’m thinking enclosing the yellow section for the garden in vapor impermeable material, maybe some parts of it glass or polycarbonate or even normal walls with poly vapor barrier on the wet side. With windows.

Here in Alaska we do a vapor barrier on the inside anyways because we heat our homes the majority of the year and dry outwards.

It would just be really really cool to sleep and wake up with tropical plants all around in a climate zone 7.

Plywood sheeting on house - do you tape the seams?

Hey I’m in Alaska, climate zone 7, when building a house with plywood sheeting, should I tape all the seams?

I’m planning drywall - vapor barrier - 2x6 studs insulation - plywood sheeting - tyvek - continuous insulation - furring strips- metal siding.

I’m having a hard time finding info on taping the seams in plywood or osb for that matter, but I know with zip sheeting you tape it so wondering why it’s hard to find info in taping plywood. If you properly apply the tyvek is that not needed? I would think taping the seams would increase your air tightness.
