NVIDIA Shield worth it?

I’m currently using an old chrome cast 4k streamer and am looking to upgrade.

My current device is okay but it’s been struggling to stream games from my PC to the TV using Apollo and Moonlight. I’m using Ethernet for both my PC and the chrome cast so I’m thinking it might be the chrome cast.

Now the background info is finished, I’m wondering if the shield is still worth it, or is there a better option on the market?

From what I’ve learned, the shield is still better than a majority of what’s on the market currently, but with it being such an old device with no real future I’m not sure its worth the price.

What do you guys think? Is it still worth it or should I get something more recent?

A righty that can’t hit lefties, plus one of the laziest outfielders in the game. We have a lot of talent in the outfield we just need to keep him on the bench as an expensive PH.
