What do we think about this offer?

Not sure how to feel about this. Definitely competing this year. I like Amon Ra and feel like I might be giving up more value than I’m getting back, but I probably need another RB, and this could help my starting lineup overall. 12 team SF .5 TEP. My team is on the second pic. Any advice is appreciated!

Could this be restocked before the sale ends?

I haven’t ever watched too closely how quickly inventories get restocked, but I’m wondering if there’s any real chance this comes back before the sale ends. I’ve been eyeing this for months and was looking forward to buying it this week and it was in stock just a couple days ago so i’m bummed I might miss it.

I know this isn’t a question anyone could confidently answer but just curious if anyone had any insights!

Shakedown Request!

Hi Everyone! I’m looking for some advice on how my current base weight looks, if I’m missing anything, and how I could potentially shave off 1-2 pounds.

Any feedback is very appreciated!

Base weight: 11.51 pounds
Goal weight: 10 pounds or less

Here’s my lighterpack! https://lighterpack.com/r/k266ce

I historically have not been an ultralight backpacker, in fact quite the opposite, but I am planning to do a thru hike next year so I wanted to get a feel for it this summer and see if it’s something that might work well for me.

This current list would be just for overnight trips, max 2 nights. This makes it a bit easier on me for now while I ease into it because I can forgo items like a power bank and won’t mind not bringing any spare clothes. I live in Colorado and my trips will be nearby home. All trips will be during the summer months with weather being moderately dry and highs during the day around 75 and lows at night around 35.

More context:

I hike with the Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z trekking poles, which are foldable fixed length poles(130cm), and I love them. That’s why I have extra poles for the X-Mid. The trekking poles are only 10.2 ounces so the combined weight of both sets of poles is still around the same weight as most adjustable trekking poles. There’s probably some benefit though to having all the weight in my hands as opposed to partially on my back, but I’m not quite sure so I’m curious if anyone has knowledge there.

Non-negotiables:

X-mid 2 and Kakwa 55: I know I could have gone with a lighter backpack or an X-mid 1/Pro to save good bit of weight but I don’t expect to be ultralight backpacking always, I frequently camp with my partner, and I winter camp just as much as summer camp so I wanted the versatility.

Down Jacket: I know it’s heavy but I get cold very easily and this one is super warm. Also most importantly I just bought this like 6 months ago and anything that is significantly lighter seems like it is going to run me 400+ and that’s just not in the budget at this time haha.

On the clock at pick 6. I feel like I need to take Mendoza here but I want to take Price. It’s Superflex 6pt passing TD. I already have Nix, Purdy, Baker, and Brissett so he would probably be my QB5 at least for this year, so it’s a pick for future value not current need. Thoughts?
