Jura A1 Grind

Hi all,

I just got a used A1 about a week ago. I’m wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the grounds that come out of it.

The A1 can do a ~7g puck or a ~10g puck, I have both options set to give a 1.5oz shot.
I’ve attached a photo - in this case the darker separated grounds are 7g, the more solid puck is a 10g. Obviously the 7g is much more wet and separated while the 10g seems almost dry. This is with the grinder set closer to the coarse side but not all the way. I am using Lavazza Super Crema in this case. Open to suggestions!

Creatista Pro to Super-Auto

Hi all,

I’ve been using the Nespresso Creatista Pro for about three years, but I know I can get better results from fresh beans. I usually use it for milk recipes. I like how easy it is to clean the milk system on the Creatista - takes no time at all.

In fact, I briefly used a Jura Z5, but it was very old and the milk system was a pain to keep clean. I switched to the Creatista Pro because of the low maintenance.

Easy maintenance is very important to me - I know myself well enough to know that if it is a hassle to keep clean, It will not get cleaned regularly enough.

I am wondering what your experience has been with maintenance for different brands, particularly relating to the Milk systems. I have seen how the Kitchenaid and Miele systems have milk tubes that plug back into the machine to be steam cleaned - that sounds pretty convenient.

Any input is valuable, thanks!

65 C5/C6 Stand Dimensions

Hi all,
