Hello, I adopted a four week old male Syrian hamster this Saturday.

I was going to leave him alone to get used to his new home, but today I noticed a dark mark on the side of his face.

I'm not sure if it's an injury or not?

I don't see blood, but it doesn't look normal either.

Looking at pictures I took of him when I got him, it looks like he had this mark the day I adopted him.

From what I was told by the seller, they adopted a female hamster that they didn't know was pregnant, and he is one of five babies.

Also, I notice that he seems to have a wobbly walk, and tends to fall when exploring. I'm not sure if this is normal since he's only 4 weeks old, or if this is a sign of a neurological issue.
