My sleepy cabin story (long read ride)
Idk what's happening with the sub, it's getting moda then they're getting removed, if it stays or goes I have no clue, I never posted here before but I'd like to share my experience with the podcast
I'm 24 now but growing up I listened to this podcast over and over and over again, I was going through a very bad time in my life, parents divorce, watchingy father degrade into a druggie, seeing things I wish I haven't, having no friends and being kind of a neet I had very little social experience, blah blah blah
Every night I'd put an episode on while I sleep to keep my head from destroying itself, preferably season 1 on the first 15-20ish episodes when everyone was on goodish terms (hospital episode, the first Christma, and water people are my top pics) it felt like I had the friends I never got to experience, hearing the stories I never got to hear from my own. It kept me mentally level for years, I would always keep all the mp3 files on a USB or backup drive Incase I went back into a place like that (I didn't luckily :)) )
But I couldn't be more greatful to grow up with their messed up distorted nerdy sense of humor, hearing their own experiences growing up, how they handled it, how their humor works. I loved every second of it.
Im kinda sad seeing the things that happened over the years (friend drama), but despite it all a good chunk of them stayed together. And even to this day I'm an avid one plays watcher (not sorry).
About the drama? If you asked me, It was wrong and gross, Chris was kinda weird for that, but it as also 12 YEARS ago, and id like to think* there have been improvements and a good portion of character development. I personally have no clue, but 12 years is a long time. I won't write what he did off, I do think it was wrong, but like, I also haven't heard anything since, that may change in the future and hopefully it doesn't.
Despite it all, I'm still gonna watch the channel if it continues while I do my minimum wage job. And quite frankly, I think that's okay, and I think it's okay for anyone else who feels the same.
Thanks for reading this yap session, and thanks for the boys for helping me become the person I am today.
That's all and FUCK YOU (ily)
