Does anyone know what they are clearing out for on Legge Blvd between the mall and target?

I am a female bowler (191 avg) wanting to join my local lanes men’s league. As this would require changing the league by-laws, it has to get voted on in the upcoming league meeting.

I’ve spent the summer talking to a fair amount of the male league members who state they would support the change in by-laws.

I am nervous that it is face value and that once it’s time for the vote, it will sway. In past mixed league meeting experiences, people are often hit with “well, we’ve never done it that way.”

I want to grow myself, become better, and be a part of a more competitive league (and this is truly the most competitive in the house). A fair amount of these men have seen me bowl in the mixed leagues and the various tournaments the house holds. I hang up there with them in score.

How can I better support my stance to join the league if there’s push back? One guy suggested maybe setting an “average minimum” of 180 if a female wants to join?? (yet many men don’t have that themselves)
