I’m moving to Winchester at the end of August due to work relocating me!
I’m wanting to make friends around my age and am looking for the best way/place to do that!
Any recommendations would be welcomed!
25m been tryna find new friends for a while but don’t have the slightest idea of where to even start finding people! How are you guys doing it?
I have 3 bonded males free. A little over a year old. They come with cage, food, treats and hay. I’ve called local shelters but they have no room for them at the time being.
My engine sometimes makes a weird noise when it’s warm and it’s either related to the mounts, or is a very light rod knock, so I’m looking to get my engine looked at. Does anyone know an honest shop in the Winchester area I could get this done at?
There is no good Chinese food in Winchester.
Every time I try a new place I am disappointed. Not one of them can even get fried rice down.
The House in all it's tyrannical wisdom snuck this in under our noses when we weren't looking. The summary is it would try to mandate identity verification through age verification (don't call it age verification, it's BS.)

moving to strasburg va and I’m looking for a new internet provider, need atleast 300 mbps download speed, don’t really care about upload speed like that. just gonna be used for gaming mostly so I don’t want shotty or laggy internet.

Where are good places to socialize? Planet Fitness is a struggle because the music is loud and most people wear headsets. I'll switch to OneLife after I finish moving.
It seems like there aren't a lot of events in the area, or third spaces in general. Besides the bar scene, where should a guy go?

My name is Jalen, I'm an incoming master's student studying flute performance. I was wondering if any of you might be able to offer some advice about housing in the area.
I applied for on campus housing as I knew it would be the easiest way to find long term accomodation, but unfortunately there is no available space on campus. I've also checked for off campus apartments on facebook, zillow, and apartments.com but the options seem to be very limited.
If anyone knows of any other sources for finding housing/knows anyone that may need a roommate that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
