The Smasher is alive once again! This is a smasher body on a FcX24 chassis. Fitted the big tires , brass hubs , Injora wheels. I installed the Highspeed FMS motor she rips!!

Got the bike all washed up changed the oil , suddenly i notice a misfire that could have been there previously. Slight smoking and mis fire coming from the right side exhaust.

New air filter is on route , i have new plugs to throw in it. Carb i’m sure needs a clean , Compression tester is on route from amazon too.

Once the tester comes in i will pressure test each cylinder , then go from there. The previous owner did not keep up on maintenance so kinda has me worried but the engine is a smooth runner for the most part.

I drained all the fuel and have new stuff with a cleaner to throw in.

THOUGHTS??

It’s amazing what a simple wash can do to a bike 🤣

LETS JUST SAY the previous owner didn’t take care of this one. Few dings scraps and road rash no biggie , service wasn’t kept up!! 😔 😢 BUT…Surprisingly the engine sounds healthy so. had to grab it up.

The last photo is my Vision for the bike , i need a rear fender , front black bullet lights and few small maintenance items tackled. I won’t be riding or doing anything except a wash for couple months as i just had surgery.

just picked up this 2000 Rebel 250 Bobber. 22k on it needs a few minors things but runs nice sounds nice pretty stoked. My last bike was a Virago 650 so this is a huge change 🤣 but honestly i wanted a ready to ride bobber to cruise around town.

it has a front fender but needs the rear.

Needs (from what i can tell)

-Service
-Front fork seals
-Rear brake light (still functions just missing mount)

Okay , so i just recently made a post and i got some great feed back and i thank you. I’ve narrowed the choices down this is a duplex unit , they don’t both need to be matching paint it’s up to the owners of each half. Ideally both agree on the same paint. But i don’t think it goes bad next to a grey home either.

SO neighbours want the Modern Grey with white trim , they’re going to have wooden doors and wood accents. i will have some brown/wood accents too.

My other choice is a nice Hale Navy blue from Benjamin Moore with White trim and wood/brown accents. Wife and i are digging the blue more. Thoughts?

Time has come for some exterior paint , i’m thinking darkish grey white trim
