Mileage and wheels query

Hi fellow Crosstrek owners,

I picked up a new Subaru Crosstrek 2.5 a couple months ago and had a question about fuel economy.

I’ve seen the combined rating listed at around 8 L/100 km, but I’m currently averaging around to 9 L/100 km with mixed city and highway driving. The car has about 2,000 km on it now, so I’m wondering if that’s still within the normal break-in period and things may improve a bit over time.

I’m also thinking about swapping the stock wheels/tires for some all-terrain setup. Personally I think A/T tires look great on the newer Crosstreks. I’ve been debating whether a 1–2 inch lift would be worth doing too.

For anyone who’s gone that route:
- Did the A/T setup or lift noticeably affect fuel economy or performance?
- Any issues with ride quality, handling, or long-term wear?
- Anything you wish you knew before doing it?

Appreciate any input - trying to figure out if I should scratch the itch or leave it stock.

Thanks!

Hi fellow sysadmins,

I’m assuming many of you are planning to upgrade to Veeam B&R v13 soon.

For those still running Windows 7 (64-bit) machines in production, how are you planning to handle backups? From what I understand, v13 no longer supports agent-based backups for Windows 7 and 8. It seems VM-level backups may still work as long as they’re not application-aware but 32-bit systems appear to be completely unsupported.

Curious if anyone has found a solid workaround or strategy for protecting these systems going forward.

Thoughts?
