Just bought this EOS 1N and the camera seems to load film fine (advances flawlessly, frame count advances etc). As soon as I close the door, the camera no longer advances film when i fire the shutter, nor does it display any info. Any fixes?

Just bought this camera, and for some reason it loads film fine when the door is open (and advances/counts fine), but as soon as I close the door it goes blank. Same goes for the DX code. Already considering taking it to the shop as I bought it for well below market value. Any fixes I can do at home?
