Hi all!

I just purchased a 2004 Audi A4 Quatro a few weeks ago. Previous owner said it burned some oil, and to keep it topped off.

Anyhow, i took it for the first real trip thisweekend, and after an 90mins or so of driving, i got the 'low oil' message. I immediately pulled into auto zone (<5miles) and put 3/4 qt oil in.

Went the rest of the day no problems. I drove about 300-400 miles, and the 'low oil' light came on again. I filled her up again, this time with about a quart.

Got back to driving, and 5 minutes later i was hit with code P0431: Warm Up Catalyst: Bank 2: Efficiency Below Threshold.

My best interpertation is that i'm bruning oil so fast its gumming up the cat, or arleast the sensor.

What should my immediate next steps be? I want to keep this car healthy, but i fear i could have done some damage already..?
