I didn’t hate the originals, but the new laces practically glow! We just got to the off-season and I just went with the aqua on a whim after doing a full clean. I love the look!

To be fair, it wasn’t bad. The originals were a more muted tone, but the bright yellow laces with the oxblood leather look amazing. Also, I found this cool little design feature on the Yamamoto that I haven’t seen when relacing my other double-palm laced gloves. The split-lace turn around with a nice clean exit?! There are a few little design features on the interior meant to make them look cleaner from the outside. Not gonna lie - I already liked gaming it, but the process of relacing it made me like it even more.

The boy wants to game a used Teppen that we got in - he’s doing a deep clean and we’ll get it relaced (he’ll do it all on this one). Mixing Japanese hinoki oil with Sarna to get it conditioned after drying it and updated pics to come. Right now, he’s trying to break his back on it getting it clean. 🤣

Got a YGS, a Teppen OF glove, a Diamante, and a Hatakeyama catcher’s mitt in the mail today. Also snagged a pair of Xanax batter’s gloves and a pair of Rakuten team issued SSK batter’s gloves. This is literally better than Christmas. 😭

I’m not going to keep it because it doesn’t fit the positions I play, but I couldn’t not get it when I saw it available out of South Korea. Lord, I wish this was a utility or outfield glove. 😭

Wanted something to catch bullpen with for my team and to use warming up the pitchers on my son’s team. This was cooler (and cheaper) than any of the used gloves on eBay or Marketplace!

Used full custom Leggera outfield glove just got here! I guess 3 Japanese gloves means I finally have a collection. 😂 I got to play catch with it immediately and can’t wait to game it next Sunday.

These went on sale a few hours ago. For any of y’all that are interested, Masuka Sports has them for 88,000円. I wish they’d release a utility length version! 😭

I get that tariffs w/ Japan just went up again 4 days ago and international shipping will stay high as long as the war continues to play out, but it still crushes my soul every time I actually have to eat that. $130 is a diabolical amount for one glove. 🤦🏻

Edit: I’m aware that it’s primarily the shipping and not nearly as much the tariffs.

I just know one of y’all is close enough to somebody in the company to have heard a rumor or have seen a pic of what’s getting released. And if not, give it a guess. 😂

I picked up these ‘Made in USA’ Diadora’s for $20 @ shopgoodwill and I’m hyped!!

These look good and I’m really looking forward to taking yet another ‘L’ on the release next week just like on every other 001 drop so far. 😂🤦🏻
