So I’ve had this issue pop up and i wanted to see if anyone else had worked through it. I’ll load custom samples into dmd and some of them just won’t work. What’s more is that it doesn’t even indicate that the key assigned to the pad is being inputted. I know it’s not a midi routing issue because this isn’t a problem on any other midi instrument. And then sometimes it will just drop samples from the assigned pads entirely. This is so maddening

Oh also, if i select the track header for the malfunctioning pad, then it WILL treat it as a sampler and let me play the sample at every pitch across the keyboard

That’s about it really. I’ve done it dozens of times now and it’s still almost as satisfying as the first time.
