Roommate Wanted for June 1 Crown Heights rent controlled Lease w/ shorter option of 3 month sublet— Large Rooms, Utilities Included, Near A/C
Hi, I'm (26m)for a roommate to sign onto a June 1 lease in Crown Heights! We would be subletting from June to the end of August with the possibility of lease take over September 1st, so this works great if you're just looking for a summer sublet or a place to stay long term.
The apartment is a few blocks south of the Nostrand A/C stop (easy access into Manhattan/Brooklyn), utilities included, large bedrooms, roof access, and rent stabilized. Current rent would be around $1500/person for a 2BR setup, with the possibility of lowering costs later if a third room is filled.
About me: I’m 26 and relocating to NYC for the NYC Teaching Fellows program. I currently work as an ESL teacher in Colorado and am generally pretty low-key/clean/respectful at home. I like going out and exploring the city, but I’m not looking for a nonstop party apartment. Ideally looking for someone similarly responsible and communicative who wants a stable living situation.
