Swollen Fallopian Tube

Had an HSG today and both tubes are open, but one is swollen in one location and inflamed (but open nonetheless). Given I have no history of STDs I’m pretty dumbfounded and the clinic just sent me home with antibiotics and no answers. Has anyone received this diagnosis or had this issue? How did you treat it? It seems like at the very least I have one good tube, but was reading that one inflamed tube can wreak havoc. Im having trouble finding information online about this situation and am waiting on my OBGYN to get back with me. I’m also completely asymptomatic.

I have painful periods but it’s actually decreased and has become more bearable over the past few years.

We’ve been trying for 5 cycles and no positives. All other tests look great for my husband and I. Any thoughts or experience would be great.

5 cycles and no positives is starting to feel concerning, but logically I’m not sure it actually is. We are very healthy because we enjoy wellness i.e. little to no processed food or seed oils, athletic and active, no alcohol or smoking, have always avoided toxic household and body products, have always had very regular cycles, all blood work and tests have come back completely normal, meanwhile friends who aren’t very healthy or as healthy and have irregular cycles for one reason or another are getting pregnant quickly. We are taking the usual supplements and are generally trying to sleep more and lower stress where we can. We are also tracking and my hormones/cycle are like clockwork so we are hitting the correct window.

I’m just so surprised I’m “behind” many others given the circumstances. This can’t be that strange, can it?
