My mom (52) struggles with literacy… she likely reads at 3rd or 4th grade level. I am working with her to strengthen her literacy. We want to read a book together. Any reccs?

I want something moving that could spark an interest in reading for her so preferably fiction to start this journey. Nothing with rape and nothing where animals die please.

First time @ Mr Charlie’s in sf

The chicken nuggets were absolutely amazing, best vegan chicken nuggets I’ve ever had and tasted so similar to how I remember McDonald’s chicken nuggets tasting. The McRib was good. Breakfast sandwich was good. Fries and tots were good. 10 out of 10 fast food experience.
