If your Oc/Oc project got its own show, what would you do with it? (Assuming you have enough time and money to make what you truly want)

Personal answer:

So I had some time to think about random stuff, and eventually I got to this: If my personal project (Sunnyside Park) actually had the opportunity to get an animated show, what would I do? I ultimately decided that probably the most interesting idea I could do that would also touch on ideas and themes that I like would be to have it be based in the canonical time period after the Toons (the characters)were abandoned. And the whole series would be based on watching them try to cope with having the purpose they were made and moulded for just disappearing in an instant, and trying to find a way to stay sane and happy, I think that would be pretty cool and unique. And honestly after thinking about it, if I ever go for a “concretely trying to tell a specific story” with the whole Sunnyside Park project whether it be through a comic, story or the like it will probably be with this concept since it’s actually grown on me a lot.

Sorry if that didn’t make much sense since I haven’t posted all to much about that project here yet, but you can learn about it at: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nSiuFBZsJFPW8A8EaAYR8qs2iAgls2TMLKFwnscEPHI/

Curse of me finding a really good piece of media that I like, getting inspired, and making a wholeass series with it.

Introducing: Sunnyside Park!

Hello everyone! I'm new here but in the future I will be posting some stuff of my OCs from the Sunnyside Park project I have poured so much effort into.

Have a look at the website:[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nSiuFBZsJFPW8A8EaAYR8qs2iAgls2TMLKFwnscEPHI/edit?usp=sharing\](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nSiuFBZsJFPW8A8EaAYR8qs2iAgls2TMLKFwnscEPHI/edit?usp=sharing) (done with google docs as a mediator beacuase reddit doesn't like google sites)

After having a look at the devlogs, I think the game is just going through a “fixing the code and backend issues” phase this year, which is good.

I think a lot of people are impatient when it comes to game development especially for games that are online like dandy’s world, hell you can even see it when it comes to some non-live games like Minecraft. People want content constantly, usually because they play and love the game so much (or in some cases TOO much) that the content that’s currently in it has gotten stale for them. And I don’t blame people for being upset with that and wanting more to do and for the issues that annoy them to be fixed, but it’s just kinda insane how fast people seem to expect things to happen.

People tend to severely underestimate how difficult game development is, and how bad issues with the code can be, it’s usually not just bugs it’s also fundamental limitations in the code that need to be fixed for new content to be possible. And as someone who has tried coding a game before, finding out how any bugs and errors happen in the first place is a major pain in the ass. However, once that code gets fixed and all the foundation is laid, it’s significantly easier for interesting and polished mechanics to be added that are usually way more fun than if something is just rushed in.

Essentially what I’m saying is, for those concerned about major content updates and fixes we likely won’t be getting those super soon, but I’ve seen what it’s like when games are in development like this and I’m sure the communities patience will be rewarded.
