this yamaha tenere trek thing was kinda cool

hi. i rode from slc to this tenere trek thing in donnelly idaho. i actually missed the first night :( but got in around noon friday. it was from like thursday night to sunday morning. heard it was mexican food the first night. food was honestly amazing. had quite the spread. the bottle of wine pictured i brought myself. they gave each guest two free drink tickets for each day. then you could pay for their lunches if you wanted. was like a sandwhich chips apple an cookie. potato salad which i didnt eat.

for their first event like this i thought it was pretty cool. riding was great. world raid felt great. if i had any gripes it would prolly be the lack of serious breakfast an the camping situation. it was ‘fine’, but for as much as tickets were, i think that wouldve left me more content. all in all, it was pretty good. def gonna try an go back

i also won some camel adv wheel bearings and a camp chef kit

setting: 9/10
weather: 7/10
breakfast: 2/10
dinner: 10/10
lunch: 8/10
riding: 7/10
staff : 9/10
entertainment: 8/10
organization: 6/10
demo ride: 8/10

Map of traversing the american west by dirt 18”x24”

Hi guys! I post here pretty often lol

I’m a huge tolkien girl and like to draw and maps and stuff so I made one with the BDR’s and other main trails in the western half of the US. This is version one.

I wanted one map of traversing this whole region without major pavement stretches

I’m intending on building a second with more accurate and consistent line spacing, but overall, I’m quite happy with the first version.

Just wanted to post it to show you guys, and if you can think of anything, that’s important to add/annotate , let me know!

I’m trying to make it more accurate for which passes to take and everything like that and when they’re actually open and stuff

I was planning on living on my bike full-time this year, but I honestly im not gonna have enough money to feel comfortable severing my ties with the system yet so I’m delaying it a year. But it’s a huge goal of mine to ride all the BDR’s and connecting routes and really learn this this land. I absolutely love the West.

After an before shot so you can read it better

i put 19,000 miles on her since i bought her march 24, 25. I just got rid of my truck, so, i am comfortable sparing no expense here
