Hi everyone!

It always bothered me that we only got a tiny fraction of the Japanese library in Europe, so I started a project to design factory-accurate PAL European editions for games that never crossed the border.

For my first project, I picked Dragon Ball Z: Shin Butoden. I wanted it to look exactly like an official 90s retail release, so I avoided scans and cheap prints:

* Redesigned every template asset from scratch in Illustrator to match original offset printing quality.

* Re-structured the Japanese square artwork into a clean vertical format.

* Printed on 350g single-sided glossy coated paper using a donor PAL case.

* Fully typeset and bound a custom 6-language instruction manual on 170g satin paper.
