What sort of whale might this have come from?
It's old probably from the whaling days, there are knife marks on the tips.

Why are there no tasty salted roast peanuts anymore?
A couple of years ago we used to get a supermarket own brand and they were sweet crunchy and full of flavour.
For the last year or so even that brand and any others we have tried are tasteless stale disappointments. We've even thrown new bags away because they won't get eaten.
We are not the only ones to notice this.
I have researched this online and got directed to some on Amazon but they were not fresh either.
Does anyone know why this is or can point us in the direction of some salted roasted peanuts that are actually moreish?
