Looking into getting a PS3 (missed out back in the day) and found a Slim running what I believe is 4.65. I don't know if there's any indication on whether or not that's OFW or CFW.

If I can't install CFW on it, I'd like to know now so I don't end up spending money on it.

First rule: It has to tell an original story and cannot be set in Banoi or Los Angeles.

Second rule: It has to be set in, and shot on location on, a real-life island.

Personally, I'd do an interquel set on Hatteras Island (my hometown), a resort area in Eastern North Carolina. The story would be set after the events of DI1/Riptide, either as a prequel or sequel to DI2. I'd work with the devs to make sure that the film stays canon with the games.

As for the characters, I'd work with the actors I cast to play the 4-6 survivor characters in creating their characters.
