Commuting to Belltown

Hey everyone!

I was recently laid off and have an incredible opportunity coming across that would require relocation to Seattle. I’m an Oregon Coast native so I don’t care about the rain, dark, etc… but after a long time in Florida (I’m so glad to possibly get out) what I can’t stand is a bad commute. I know the traffic in Seattle is absolutely insane, and we don’t plan on keeping both of our cars so we’re trying to get information on the best places to commute to Belltown from. Bus, rail, and cycling are all on the table. Honestly would prefer to just be able to cycle around from wherever we end up.

Not opposed to living in or around Belltown itself, but for our dogs sake we think we’d like somewhere a little closer to a neighborhood feel. The dog simply must meet every person she passes… and although it’s adorable nobody has time for an 80lb mutt trying to knock them over with a hug at Mach fuck.

We’ve looked across Queen Anne, Magnolia, and Ballard so far; they SEEM like a great fit but I would love to hear from the locals.

We’d be renting at first, probably in the 2500 range but could stretch to 3000.

Sorry for the long winded post but I’d love to hear from some locals on the reality of the commute.

Had to reach for some of these and had to think real hard on others

Other than 2022 and 2025, 2019 and onward were tough. AW2 or RE4R is a toss up for me, went with AW2 for series representation. Also the jrpg generational run from the 90s to the mid 2000s was elite and I miss those days.

I could have basically put Bloodborne, KH2, FFXII, E33 or FFX in most of these spaces. I decided to limit each game to one appearance.
