Is Lac la Pêche open for 2026?
Google Maps says its temporarily closed, but the NCC site says its usually open in mid-May?

This is obviously beyond the scope of the first phases of Alto, but personally I would love to see the southern corridor brought into the HSR network in the future. I know we probably can't run it down the 401 like some seem to suggest, but I think you could do it somewhere close to the 401 and overlapping it in some places with bridges to straighten our the curves and ride the hills.

That southern route would capture around 850,000 residents that could be added to the HSR network once they connect back in at Toronto or Montreal.
