J'viens de voir passer une motocross, sans lumières, sans plaques. Le conducteur habillé en hoody noir et un facemask ne portait pas de casque de moto.
Il était sur le boul. du plateau et à pris le chemin de bruxelles pour aller vers l'Agora...(peut etre qu'il habite là?)
Bref, il a tous les red flags d'un bandit qui cherche le trouble.

Y a-t-il de nouveaux développements sur cette disparition invraisemblable? On n'en entends plus parler. Pour ma part je continue de garder l'oeil ouvert quand je vais dans le parc.
En écrivant “lâche un ouac” à un chum, je me suis demandé s’il comprendrait… je ne suis pas né ici et j’ai collectionné plusieurs régionalismes.

I live in a demi-detached home and even though our yards are close we always enjoyed the privacy of 20ft tall hedges on all sides! On the right side of the yard we have a small chain link fence and the neighbour side has a strip or the 20ft hedges, the back and left side are our hedges! We always enjoyed the privacy, couldn’t see any neighbours and even if we are in the city we could pretend we were not! I come home, only to find that the neighbour trimmed at least 5 feet from bottoms of the hedges. Now do I not only have full view of their yard (and them into ours) I can see at least three others yards surrounding us! I am so discouraged. Should I move or become the crazy (maybe naked) neighbour!?

Saw the police closing off the road on the Island between the 5 and Jacques-Cartier. Bike paths/ MUPs were still open mostly.

I heard some noise and looked out the window around 1 AM. A group of 4 or 5 teenagers were standing on the sidewalk down the street while one of them was standing leaned deep into the driver's side of the car as he rummaged through the cabin. He then pushed the door closed turned back with some stuff in his hands and rejoined his buddies on the sidewalk. They looked at the stuff he took out and he dropped most of it on the ground. It looked like papers or something like that. They were in no rush to leave the scene. A car was approaching from afar and they were all looking at it, probably to make sure it isn't the police. Then they lazily crossed the street and left. Yes, I did report it to the police. The youngest of them looked no more than 12 or 13 and they all looked to be of the same ethnicity. It happened not far from Agora.

I’m hoping to head to Meech Lake Friday morning, but I’m a bit confused about the road closures.
From what I understand, the Gatineau Park parkways are closed to private vehicles all day on Fridays. The last time I tried to go to Meech Lake, I ran into a barricade along the way blocking an intersection to get there. I followed Maps, but it didn’t show me any alternate route to get to the main Meech Lake parking lot.
Am I missing something? Is there another way to drive to Meech Lake when the parkways are closed to private vehicles?

My mom is here to watch the fireworks for Canada Day, they are canceled. She is very upset and cried so I want to put on a show for her to make it up. I’ve done them before back in Alberta so I’m quite familiar with safety regulations. I just need help finding them to save my mom’s trip to visit us. I want to make it special since she is getting older.
