Recommendation salon toilettage chat

Bonjour !

Merci !

Thomasville Fallon sectional

Hi! I’m looking to buy a new couch and I’ve heard great things about the Thomasville sectionals from Costco. I specifically really like the: Thomasville Fallon 6-piece Modular Fabric Sectional with Ottoman.

It’s currently $1,999.99 CAD. For those who are familiar with Costco furniture sales, is it worth waiting for a sale? Does Costco usually discount Thomasville sectionals for Black Friday or at other times of the year?

Thanks!

Où étudier tranquillement à Gatineau (à deux)?

Bonjour!

Merci d’avance!

Why don't we see the same level of public advocacy for improving accountability within the public service as we do for RTO?

I've been following the RTO debate, and one thing I've been wondering is this.

The public service has been incredibly vocal about RTO, pay, and working conditions. That's understandable, those issues directly affect employees.

But from the outside, many Canadians also hear stories (whether representative or not) about consistently poor performers being transferred instead of dismissed, lengthy performance management processes, or employees who contribute very little while remaining employed.

My question is: why don't we see the same public push, from employees, unions, or other groups, for reforms that improve accountability and public confidence?

I'm asking because I think this disconnect is one reason many Canadians aren't sympathetic to the RTO debate, and I'd genuinely like to understand the perspective from people inside the public service.

Keeping infertility private is exhausting

I don't really have anyone in my real life to talk to about this because we haven't told our families that we're trying.

We're a little over a year into this process, and being around family has become so much harder than I expected. There are babies everywhere, pregnancy announcements, conversations about kids... and then come the inevitable questions: "So, when are you guys having kids?"

I usually just smile and say "Not yet."

Then come the responses: "Enjoy your freedom while you can!" or "When we decided to try, it happened the first month." The one that hit me the hardest recently was, "Enjoy not having kids right now. It's so hard."

Girl... that's all I want.

I've spent months dreaming about becoming a mom and months getting my hopes up, only to have them crushed again. I'll still notice my body doing something a little different and catch myself thinking, "Maybe this is the month." Then my period comes, and I'm right back where I started.

I know people aren't trying to be hurtful. They have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. But every one of those comments stings.

As far as we know, we're the only couple in the family dealing with fertility issues. It feels incredibly isolating, especially when everyone else seems to have gotten pregnant so easily. I often leave family gatherings feeling completely drained, even though nothing "bad" actually happened.

I don't really know what I'm looking for by posting this. Maybe just to know I'm not the only one who feels this way. If you've kept your journey private, how do you get through family events and all the well-meaning comments?

Got burned out after big cert... this is what got me back into studying

Every time I sit down to study, I end up putting on one of this guy's videos: https://www.youtube.com/@icanstudystudent

I used to watch his 3-hour study sessions, and he recently released a 1.5-hour one as well.

I passed Network+ not too long ago, but I think I completely burned myself out in the process. Ever since then, I've had a hard time finding the motivation to study again. Surprisingly, this channel has been one of the biggest reasons I've been able to get back into it.

My routine is simple: I open HTB (that's what I'm studying right now, CPTS precisely if anyone is interested), start one of his videos, and tell myself, "Just give it 10 minutes."

I've read that getting started is usually the hardest part, so when I can't tell whether I'm actually exhausted or just unmotivated, I don't try to figure it out first, I just commit to those 10 minutes. I don't even set a timer. If I'm genuinely too tired, I stop without feeling guilty.

But honestly? Most of the time, those 10 minutes turn into an hour or two. Once I get into the groove, I completely lose track of time.

Working full-time while studying to eventually transition into a new position has honestly been one of the hardest things I've done in my life so far. Back when I was in school, I thought balancing two part-time jobs while studying was going to be the toughest period of my life... turns out I was very wrong.

Whatever reason you're on this subreddit, don't give up. Some days you'll only manage 10 minutes, and that's okay. Progress is still progress, and showing up consistently matters a lot more than having the "perfect" study session, or cramming everything last minute

My brother did our nameplates in LEGO with runescape font!

My husband's name on top, and mine on the bottom. Super cool gift !

Why is the point on the truck being vertical in this ramp ?

They were lowering the truck as I was pulling my phone out, but it was completely vertical at first

Inspection préachat pour piscine

Bonjour,

Merci !
