Since 1996 when this was created, we’ve learned a lot, so I updated the phrase to “Momma” instead of “Grandma” to be more accurate and relevant for today’s reader. Aside from that, it’s exactly as it was back then.

Who would’ve guessed the meaning it would eventually have? Back then it was talking about benefits for seniors, and re-election. Now it’s referencing, um, well, alleged benefits for seniors (the powerful perverted variety) and underage girls. Smfh.

Shes no Hillary Clinton but the level of deception here was certainly Hillary-esque.

Their strategy to pass Obamacare worked in the end, thanks in large part to the media. The PR campaign was never ending of course.

They over-promised Americans and over-whelmed lawmakers, who didn’t have enough time to read the bill (let alone understand it) they were voting on.

This was Pelosi’s gem of a solution. Just pass it, then worry about what’s in it. A huge win for the insurance companies, again.
