So i want to take a laptop with me for Drop but when i called to ask about it they said some laptops may cause problem with their custom software(said something about chinese laptops which I dont remember).. they said some brands which would be preffered but the only one I remember is lenovo.. can anyone recommend good laptops in the 55k ish range

I am interested both in medicine and in research( preferably biology) with my rank from previous yr data I should be able to get into iiser tvm while I am unsure whether I would get gmc so on whether to take a drop year or go to iiser( assuming I get it) can anyone give advice.. shouldnt the answer be M phase as it is during prophase that chromatin condenses to chromosomes hence chromatids. till then it is just chromatin right?
