So we just had our soapstone counters added to our matchless cabinet outdoor kitchen. I went to start install my appliances and it seems like they fabricator cut the cutouts on the high end of the “max” depth that naplolean gives for my grill and side burner. It is flush on the front but the back has a small gap along the entire rear of about 3/16”?
I’m so frustrated with the lack of durability of my S7 Ultra Max. We bought it under 3 years ago. After 1.5 years it was replaced d/t the dock stop emptying the vacuum. Now after less than another 1.5 yrs the robot will not dock to charge and says Error 13. I have cleaned all the contacts as stated. I have replaced the battery without fixing the issue. I can’t believe an over $1k vacuum won’t last more than 1.5 years. I contacted Roborock. They offered a whole $20 off a new robot. No chance that I would give anymore money to them.
We have a Tesla wall connector as our home charger and have had it for 3 years at our house. We have noticed on our new Rivian R1S that it has started to derate our home charging after about 30 mins. It appears from looking that the charger is getting warm and derating down to the 5.7kW from the 11.3kW. We will unhook the charger then immediately plug back in and it will go back to the full 11kW charging rate and does the same derate after 20-30 mins. Our Tesla Model Y doesn’t derate at all. The charger is in our garage and the temp is only around 80 degrees. Has anyone had this issue? I took off the connectors and the lugs appear to be tight and not loosening.
I have had a Tesla Wall connector since 2021. We moved it to our new house 3 years ago and it has been working just fine. I have noticed today that when I am trying to charge our Rivian R1S it will charge at the 11.7kw for 20 min or so then derates down to 5.7kW. It looks like it is saying it is overheating bc the top light flashes 3 times and the green lights are sequentially lighting up as normal. It is only 80degrees out. The lugs/wire don’t seem loose at all and are still firmly attached. Do the chargers go bad sometimes?
ETA: my Tesla Model Y charges just fine without derating.
Also when it derates… I can unhook and immediately reconnect and it charges again at the full 11.5kW for 30 mins then derates
We are exploring having an outdoor port court/concrete slab area put onto our property. We want concrete d/t the flexibility of being used for batting cage vs basketball/pickle ball etc. Is there any issues(drainage, etc) if it is concrete and we had turf put down on the batting cage area? We get all 4 seasons.
I know it will probably come with age/strength but any good tips/drills to help 6-7 yo start swinging with more than just arms.
