This morning almost sideswiped me in front of Fork N Flower, I was well and truly in my lane going the speed limit (he was in the right hand lane) and when I took evasive action I looked over and he had jolted himself awake, then continued to swerve in his lane until I turned off at Coppards Road.
When he was “awake” it would seem, he was tailgating and right up the back of people

I’ve hurt my ankle. Not bad enough to go to emergency, but it’s painful and needs to be seen to. I think an xray probably. Someone suggested BH north for an xray but looking online it says you need to call and book?
Are we talking within the week, months? Only reason I ask is because when my Mrs needed to make an appointment for a non urgent procedure (iron infusion) it was something like at least a few months wait
Obviously hospital for emergency cases but is Barwon north one of those places that have long waits unless you present at urgent care room in significant pain? some places only legs on certain days etc
I’m confused about how it all works
Basically is my only option to get a same day bulk billed xray to wait at Geelong hospital?

Wife Paid for a cleaner
It was $170 for 2 hours work including gst and fees the vacuuming was average in parts, I found a tap on and still running, bathroom faucet both in shower and sink still had limescale, they didn’t touch the laundry and they left our back gate wide open. Bremlea area.
Asked them not to go into my kids rooms but focus on the rest of the house alowing them more time on those rooms the house was tidied very well by us first but the kids had a fucking field day right before the cleaner got in so I said don’t worry about it big mistake as it just allowed them to not do what could be done
Would you pay such a high amount??? 2 hours work 2 lounge rooms 2 bathrooms 2 toilets kitchen main bed with WIR

Company did not try and reconcile when concerns were raised

Hey all ran the ASICS Run Melbourne half marathon today (even on 3 broken toes)
Just wondering if anyone else had any issues around the 10km mark of there Strava map randomly skipping across the river and back again making it an insanely fast kilometre?
I have spoken to at least 10 people who this happened to to today… Is there anyway to fix it on Strava? I don’t care however it will affect my PB going forward and Im not sure if it contributed to me running 21.91km on Strava but 21.1 in official timing (that’s approx a 6 minute time difference)
Has anyone else picked up on just HOW bad this stretch is?
I once counted 40 potholes that required invasive action in this one strip
COGG “fixed” it the next week after I reported it but I drove it tonight in the fog and it’s still awful.

In rental, family of 6. 4 kids under 8 including a just turned 1 year old baby. Our heater is broken and we are out of firewood. Unsure when heater will be fixed.
Any tips on how to keep us from freezing to death over the next few days?

Have layered up the kids overnight and put all the blankets onto one bed so we can sleep together to stay warm

4 kids under 8, we need a new rental and this is ideally in the Leopold/Wallington/Ocean Grove pocket due to our son being at school. Thoughts? OG is pretty expensive for what you get and I work in OG sp if we lived in Leopold school drop off would not be too much of an issue
Has anyone else argued and won against being banned from Woolies online?
Here’s the story:
I made a Woolies account online a couple of years back and had issues with the log in, my wife just ended up making one herself on behalf of our family.
We do delivery because we have 4 kids under 8, it’s easier. Some would say “stop being lazy” but we’re trying to make life easier here. It’s $15 a month subscription which if you get more than one delivery it pays for itself (it’s $11-15 for a single delivery).
Lately every single order has had an issue, whether that be meat that’s swollen, almost out of date slimey salad mixes, etc. every week. We are always prepared for items to be substituted btw, we select them carefully.
However this week a couple of items did not arrive, my Mrs jumped on the chat and they were apologetic and sent us an online credit. We then went to cook dinner that evening and realised, more items were missing (sometimes you don’t realise until you go looking). They weren’t substituted or taken off, just not there at all.
Back on the chat, same deal.
The next day I went to feed my kid a banana and realised…. Oh, none there either.
Back on the chat.
At this point it was ridiculous to keep going back and admittedly we should have just checked it all at the first sign of error but that’s just what it is.
We got our “refunds” back in the form of an online credit, but then 30 mins later my Mrs got a email to say she was banned from Woolies online (making the vouchers null and void btw).
We cannot resign up no matter how hard we try.
We contested this as was met with a “we understand, but no”.
What the heck!?
And the now useless voucher… thanks Woolies. Jerks.
We could only get particular things we wanted from Woolies so looks like we’re no longer going there…
Also they said having multiple accounts under our home address despite 2 different names and emails was the breach, so if you live in a share house etc, be warned. I’m thinking that’s total bs as to what the reason is, and the reason is we requested half decent service and getting the items we paid for.
Edit to add: in this particular order, we asked to “speak to a human” for each refund which we did. Not Olive.
