Militaries operating stealth jet actively try to avoid radar signature exposure and potential RCS mapping via luneburg lens or carrying AAM externally. But in actual conflict against neer peer enemy, it's inevitable that radar signature would be captured by the enemy.

So question is that, how long it can take to translate it and apply it to actual combat assuming a fighter gets mapped by everything from red force destroyers, fighters, ground radars, SAMs; and wouldn't it degrade the effectiveness of the aircraft itself during prolonged conflict? So how do militaries and OEM plan to deal with that, beside of course changing some RAM recipes?

Basically question is how do UVLS cells work in regard to cold launch and hot launch, and furthermore in regards to depth and size?

Such as GJB 5860 configuration has depths of 3.3m, 7m and 9m

Are these configurable on the ships?

Like, as an example, can Type 055, carry entire magazine of 9m cells in its 112 VLS? Or if Type 054A being able to carry entire load of 7m cells?

If not, if there's any benefit beside the tooling and logistics?
