Looking at a 2024 Supra

Hi All! I am going to be test driving a 2024 MK5 Supra on Thursday, and I wanted to get some opinions on things I should particularly look at when inspecting it. It is a 2024 with 30k miles, one owner, clean carfax, and I might purchase this. This is going to be my first supra that I will be driving, but I own a m240i and am familiar with the b58, but I was wondering if there is anything specific I should listen to or look at when seeing the car. Super excited to test drive it, thanks in advance!!

Catless downpipe no tune

Hi all! I have a 2023 G42 m240i and I am currently still on warranty but I want to get more sound out of my car. I currently have a muffler delete and CAI, but I was thinking of going catless, with NO tune. Am I at risk of overboost or damaging my car if I daily my car with no tune if im catless? Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Catted vs Catless Downpipe

Hi All,

I have a 2023 G42 m240i, and at the moment I currently have a muffler delete and a cold air intake. I want to make the car louder and throatier/deeper, but not in a raspy way. I know that I can either do a catted downpipe or a catless. I am leaning towards catted because I don't want to void my warranty, and if I do get a catted downpipe I would purchase the MAD catted downpipe which guarantees no check engine light.

I wanted to ask if there are any big differences in sound between a catless or catted downpipe, and if I were to run a catless downpipe and daily my car WITHOUT a tune, am I genuinely hurting the car? I heard I am at risk of overboost, but have heard opposite things that the ECU is very smart in these generation of cars. Thanks in advance!!

Hi all! (2023 G42 m240i)

I was curious on if a 300 cel high flow catted downpipe would be worth it. I am currently looking at the MAD catted downpipe for $900 that guarantees no CEL. Only reason why I am considering a catted downpipe is because I am on warranty until 85k miles and I wouldn’t want a CEL. I am running a muffler delete and CAI at the moment, and my main goal of adding the downpipe would be for more aggressive sound, not power because I obviously cannot get tuned, but its nice that the downpipe claims extra 30 hp. If anybody is running a catted downpipe please feel free to let me know your experiences! I just want to gauge if adding a dp will increase the sound noticeably or if I am better off not spending the $900 for the downpipe. Thanks!
