Essays/LORs/Interviews: My letters of recs were decent, I didnt have a great connection with my cs teacher, i asked my multimedia teacher who is also a cs teacher for letter of rec, i got another one from my history teacher and one from the mit mentor i did a research project with.

Deciding between Virginia Tech and umass amherst, mostly leaning towards Amherst.

I recently got of waitlist for umass amherst and was initially thinking of commiting to virginia tech but now i am unsure. I am a california resident, is it wise for me to attend uc santa cruz or riverside and possibly transfer to irvine or san diego. I hjobeard transfer rates are going to become lower.

My goal for college is to land a good internship for a cs related field for cybersecurity at a defense company or another good intenrship which can help me land a job.

hi guys i recently got admitted into umass for a cs related major. Right now I have a d in ap csa and am stressing out my acceptance is gonna get rescinded. I have a 3.28 unwieghted 3.8 weighted, 2bs in my regular classes, 3 cs in my 3 other ap classes, and finally a d in ap csa.

my csa teacher is known for just assigning alot of homework and making exams difficult. I have tried really hard to do well in the class, last semester i got a b in her class. My grade dropped low because I did really bad on her recursion test, she gave 25 min for 13 hard recursion mcqs and 2 whole trace tables to fill out. I saw so many people cheat on that test because she does not have a lock down browsr for it. Recently she found out alot of people cheated on her other test because she did not have a lockdown browser for that and she got really mad and removed that entire mcq section from them. I feel like i put in a lot of effort to learn about the class and genuinly like cs, I feel like i am going to get my offer rescinded while the people who cheated get away with it. I emailed her a month ago as soon as i found out about my recursion test scores, she said focus on the final and the project and is not offering any retakes or other options. I did well on the final and even with the project i am not gonna get up to a c, i dont know what do.

i talked to her and she said that for the integrity of the other students who worked hard for their grade, she cannot round up my grade
